Reality Bakes is on the move!

I’m so fortunate to be able to travel for fun, and years ago I’d made a promise to myself that I’d try to spend every other birthday in a place that wasn’t my home. (The post picture above is from our trip to Venice year before last.) I’ve had mixed success meeting that goal because, well, life. But soon I’ll be checking another item off the bucket list! Remember this post, when I said it was a dream of mine to taste Sachertorte at the Hotel Sacher in Vienna? Well, friends, with any luck, that’s exactly what I’ll be doing very soon. We’re off to Berlin, Prague, Vienna, and Salzburg, so let the fine dining commence!

Food-wise, we’re hoping to have a truly authentic Czech meal in Prague and are traveling some ways from the touristy areas to have it, and in Berlin, we’re planning to dine in one of the oldest restaurants in the world. Of course, best laid plans and all that, so we’ll be on the lookout for all the happy accidents and hidden gems, too.

All of which is to say, no new bakes on here for a little bit, but I plan to come home inspired! And be sure to check out my Instagram page, where I hope to be posting luscious food and treats from around the world as we go.
